Who operates PeopleHub

PeopleHubs operates PeopleHub, a software platform used by schools for staff operations and school-connected family services. A school chooses which PeopleHub services it offers and which people are authorized to use them.

For school-specific student and family information, the school is generally the organization that decides why the information is used. PeopleHubs provides and supports the platform as the school's service provider. Your school's own notices and policies may also apply.

Information we receive

• Google sign-in information. When you sign in, PeopleHub receives your name, email address, and a unique Google account identifier so it can authenticate you and connect you with the correct school account. PeopleHub does not receive your Google password.
• School and family information. A school may provide the information needed to deliver an enabled service, such as a parent or guardian relationship, a child or student relationship, route access, and notification preferences.
• Service and security information. PeopleHub records limited session, device, access, and audit information needed to keep the platform secure, troubleshoot problems, and maintain reliable service.

How we use information

We use information to sign users in, enforce school-approved access, provide the requested PeopleHub service, send service communications, prevent misuse, improve reliability, and meet legal or security obligations.

BusPulse may display school-authorized route, vehicle-location, and arrival-estimate information. It is not an emergency service, and PeopleHub does not need a parent's Google password or personal Google Drive or Gmail content to provide ordinary sign-in.

Google information

PeopleHub uses Google account information for authentication and account linking. We do not sell Google account information, use it for advertising, or use the parent sign-in connection to read unrelated Gmail, Drive, or other Google content.

When information is shared

Information may be available to authorized personnel at the school connected to the account and to service providers that help PeopleHubs host, secure, maintain, and support PeopleHub. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect the platform or users, or as part of a lawful business transition.

Retention and requests

PeopleHub and the school retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain security and audit records, resolve disputes, and meet legal or operational requirements. For questions about a child, family relationship, route access, or school record, contact the school that provided your PeopleHub access. For platform questions, use the support contact provided by your school.

Changes

We may update this policy as PeopleHub changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new update date. If a change materially affects how information is used, the school or PeopleHubs may provide additional notice.
